Dr. Vincent Hunt BSc(Hons), MBA, DBA., Editor-in-Chief
Vincent has been a Senior Lecturer in Business since September 2024, having joined DBS as a lecturer in January 2023. Since February 2025 he has also served as Editor-in-chief of the DBS Applied Research and Theory Journal. With extensive industry experience across various organisations, Vincent brings valuable insights to his teaching and research. He has spent the last decade in academia, previously working at TU Dublin (Graduate Business School), SETU, and National College of Ireland. He holds an MBA from DCU and a DBA in Business Economics from UCC.

Trevor Haugh MLIS BA, Dublin Business School, Managing Editor
Trevor has worked in the DBS Library for fifteen years. He has worked in various roles both inside and outside the library during his time in DBS. In the Library he has worked as Head of Reader Services, Information Skills Manager and Deputy Librarian. Outside the Library Trevor has taken up other roles including part time Lecturer on the Msc in Information and Library Management and Dissertation Supervisor. Alongside his current role as Head of DBS Library, Trevor has been Managing Editor of DBS DBS Applied Research and Theory journal for the last 2 years.

Francisca Silva MLIS BA, Dublin Business School, Publishing Editor
Francisca holds a first-class honours MSc in Information and Library Management from Dublin Business School and a Master's in Political Science and International Relations from Portugal. While working as a part-time Library Assistant, she was awarded third place in the LIR Show and Tell 2023 competition. After being promoted to eResources Librarian at DBS, Francisca managed the library website and oversaw all online resources. She is now the Research Librarian at DBS, offering research support to students and faculty and acting as Secretary of the Applied Research and Practice Committee. Other affiliations include the Academic and Special Libraries Committee, ORI, NAIN, and the LAI/CILIP Conference 2026 Committee. Francisca is the Publishing Editor for the DBS Applied Research & Theory Journal.

Evan Flanagan MLIS BA, Dublin Business School, Editorial Coordinator
Evan obtained a degree in History from University College Dublin and worked in bookselling before entering the field of librarianship with Wexford Public Library Services in 2023. Since then, he acquired a Masters’ in Library & Information Sciences from UCD and joined the DBS Library Team in 2025 as a Library Assistant. Evan provides focused one-to-one learning support to students in the areas of academic writing, assignment planning, referencing and more, as well as assisting DBS students, staff and faculty with reference and research queries. Evan is an Editorial Coordinator for the DBS Applied Research & Theory Journal.

Naoise Finnegan MSc, BA, Marketing & Communications Editor
Naoise has served as the DBS Welfare Officer since October 2023, managing student mental health guidance and well-being campaigns. She holds an MSc in Psychology and Wellbeing from DCU and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from NCI. Her research background focuses heavily on health psychology, emotion regulation, and quality of life indicators. Highly involved in campus development, Naoise sits on multiple academic and safety committees. She helped organise and spoke at the 2024 Healthy Campus seminar. She brings her expertise in research, wellbeing, and student engagement to her role at the DBS Applied Research and Theory Journal.

Hamza Razaq MSc, BA, Marketing & Communications Editor
Hamza has a long-standing commitment to student welfare and systemic inclusion at DBS, transitioning from his early leadership as Student Union Vice President to his current role as Disability and Inclusion Officer. He holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Applied Psychology, with award-winning research that secured second place in the 2025 HECA Research Competition. Committed to evidence-based practice, he holds specialized credentials in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), digital accessibility, and crisis intervention (ASIST & safeTALK). Throughout his tenure, he established the Academic Support Community, co-authored key student leave policies, and secured landmark HEA funding for the college. He brings his expertise in strategic communication, digital accessibility, and student-centered advocacy to his role as Marketing & Communications Editor for the DBS Applied Research and Theory Journal.
